Internet Incident

Seriously, APCG week wasn’t that great. I have been keeping myself busy with CCAs, the e-learning work and the remaining project work.

A major event that happened was the failure of my internet connection, between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday night.

Interview with Dr Woffles Wu

For English, we have to do a Biography project, and our biographee is Dr Woffles Wu, world-renowned Asia’s leading aesthetic surgeon.

Just came back from an interview with him. Was at first quite scared as famous people are mostly fierce and scary… but he was very friendly!

Beach-ily Fun!

It was another beach-y day! Arranged to meet up at 3 pm with my group members, but somehow, I was late again!

My dad told me it would take me 45 minutes to reach Pasir Ris Interchange on bus 88 from Bishan. But err, it took me 59 minutes, in fact. I reached at 3.11 pm. I was very sorry about that. T_T

Well, I went to @Club Asiasoft to retrieve the prize on my sister’s behalf. xD Somehow, it took me a very long time to walk from City Hall MRT to Suntec City Mall, and it took me even longer to find the place because Suntec City is just too big! Somemore, I didn’t know the place belongs to which tower. Zzz. Anyway…

It’s Fated

Went to do some morning pull-up exercises with Kenneth at Bishan Park. It was very strenuous; now my arm muscles hurt.

For the coming 31 August concert, it’s not compulsory for Sec 4s to perform. So, on our way back home (we both live in Bishan xD), I asked him whether he wants to perform, because we have to submit the names in already.

Back from Camp~

Back from camp. It was quite fun as a facilitator. =D

I cried.

I must really applaud foreign drama productions for their efforts. They got better scriptwriters than us, somehow.

I watched Strange Tales of Liao Zhai just now. There are 4 stories in the series, and each of them is love story about love and sacrifice. The episode I just watched was the last episode of Story 2. The female ghost in the story died because she committed suicide with the male lead actor due to love that is not accepted by her father. ‘Cause she’s from a rich family and the guy is just a poor actor. But somehow the guy didn’t die and she died. So she became a wandering spirit.

Then at the end of the day, her spirit dissipated ’cause she wanted to rescue the guy and another lady who loves the guy too. An evil rich guy started a fire and she just disappeared due to the intense heat from the fire after saving them. Then, I cried. T_T

Disappointment + Delight

Went to watch Chinese Language Challenge 《华文智多星》 semi-finals yesterday. The recording (the show is not live, btw) was supposed to start at 7pm. We reached Mediacorp at around 6.40pm. This was my second time at Mediacorp, and we went by the same way to the theatre studio. Strangely, same as last time, we had to wait at the carpark outside the studio.

HMT Mid-Year, over!

o.O I sat for the Sec 4 Higher Chinese Commont Test today. Oops, I mean Common Test, but well, it is written as ‘Commont’ on the test papers. Tsk @ Chinese teachers. LOL~~~

You know, the photos of each and every one in my class are pasted on the protuding wall in the classroom. This morning, before the HMT Mid-Year Exam, mine just dropped. Oh my god, I was stunned. Could that be an ominous sign? Zzz, I quickly took up and pasted randomly onto the wall, ’cause its actual spot was too high for me to reach. Argh.

Great Grandma’s Birthday~

Went for great-grandma’s (mother’s father’s mother) 91st birthday celebrations at her house today. The day was quite pleasant, although I always dread going to great-grandma’s place.

Scholarship, Friendship, Artspace(ship? LOL)

Oh my god, I got Oh Thiam Hock Scholarship for Year 1, Top for HCL for Year 2, and I thought I wouldn’t be getting anything for Year 3. But somehow I got a Leong Chee Whye Scholarship for Year 3 (last year, which I will be getting this year). Congrats me? LOL. Never mind, ’cause I don’t know why I’m getting it anyway.
