Lectures……

Another post about Lectures~

There was Chemistry lecture yesterday. As it was a revision of Secondary content, the lecturer literally sped through her lecture, and left quite a number of my classmates and me confused, ’cause apparently, we’ve forgotten much of Stoichiometry and the calculations. I was quite irritated when she told us to stop talking when we were whispering among ourselves asking one and other for clarifications. But well, after the lecture, I managed to figure out since I’ve learnt the exact same thing in secondary school.

I just hope the lecturer won’t go at high speed for subsequent non-revision topics. If she’s gonna do that, I think I must read through the notes prior to the lecture so that I won’t be confused and puzzled while the lecture is conducted. In any case, the notes are self-explanatory (so lectures are so unnecessary ’cause what’s shown on the screen is technically what’s found in the set of notes that we’ve paid for :X).

Today, there was Economics lecture. The lecturer was so lame~ =.= She was cracking jokes that most if not all of us couldn’t apprehend. Her sense of humour is very very weird. For instance, is it counted as humour to pronounce “serious” as “sir-rai-yers”? She pronounced it that way, and all of us stoned for a second and broke into laughters. I don’t know about the rest, but a few of my classmates and I laughed ’cause it’s lame. LOL.

But well, it’s good to have such a “humourous” teacher ’cause it livens up the mood and makes the otherwise dry and difficult subject more interesting and appealing to people like me who took it for the sake of fulfilling the requirement of having contrasting subjects. LOLLL.

However, the bad thing was that I didn’t manage to absorb much during the lecture because firstly, I just got the notes today and hence didn’t get to read once through to get a general idea; secondly, I was more bothered about highlighting all the important stuff on my notes that was re-emphasised on the slides; thirdly, I wasn’t quite in the mood to absorb the content ’cause I kept on laughing. -.-

By the way, I found out today that there are 50 J1 classes in total, out of which, 42 are Science classes and 8 are Art classes. Those in art classes take mostly Humanities subjects, just in case you misunderstand it as Art&Craft, LOL.
