Lectures…

There weren’t any lectures yesterday, but today my class had 3.In JC, we have lectures and tutorials. During lectures, many classes come together in a Lecture Theatre to listen to a teacher going through the general concepts. As for tutorials, we attend them as a class when we will interact more with the teachers, learn the stuff in details, do some exercises, and of course, get to ask questions that we otherwise would be too shy to during lectures.

The first lecture today was Chemistry. According to the seating arrangement, we had to sit at the back, and I didn’t like it at all. It’s easy to fall asleep looking at something from a far distance. Luckily I managed to stay awake ’cause the teacher was quite interesting. LOL. He asked us what are electrophiles and neutrophiles. No one knew, so he asked us where did “phile” come from? We answered “paedophile”. ROFL.

The second lecture was Maths. Omg, we had to get a 200-plus-page stack of binded photocopied notes which costs $9.40. The teacher was so monotonous and so low-pitched which made me feel as if I’d just switch off and enter dreamland anytime. But I didn’t, ’cause I love Maths, LOLLL.

The third one was Physics. The speaker sounded really funny. I don’t know how to describe, but her voice just makes me (and everyone else) feel the urge to break into laughter. That was whatwe did, anyway. Oh, she told us there will be an Inter-class Building competition, in which every Physics student has to participate in. I must say, my class is so enthu that we immediately decided our groupings (maximum 5 people per group) right after the lecture. We drew lots to be fair, LOLLL. 4 groups with 3 guys, 2 girls and 1 group with 4 guys, 1 girl. Enthu class. Thumbs up~ LOL.
