I’m getting a distinction for the Intermediate Translation DMP course ’cause I got 51/60 for the written test. And it’s the highest in class. xD I’m very happy, LOL.

Bad
I only finished 3 out of 6 topics for Geography and 1 out of 8 topics for Biology in 5 days (Wed to Sun).
Bad… But I have come up with a detailed plan of what I’m gonna do from tomorrow till end of EOY such that I can be very prepared for the exams, and I shall follow the plan strictly.
I will, and I must. xD

Mugging Spree
o.O I’ve finished studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry. 3 down, 3 more to go: Biology, Geography and Social Studies.
I should be able to finish studying those remaining 3 subjects by the end of DMP period, which is, by 30 September (or rather, by 1 October which is a public holiday). xD Then I’ll be ready for revision during lesson time from 2 to 9 October (which is only a mere 6 days).
EOYs are on 10, 15-17 and 20 October. I seriously hope I will get flying colours (LOL, what a cliched idiom) so that my non-stop mugging will not go to waste. =D

Sorry Sensei
I’ve skipped two Japanese lessons already. One on Tuesday, and one today. (While I’m typing this post, the lesson today is in progress… :()
On Tuesday, only one of my classmates was present, so it was a 1-to-1 session. :X Ya, you can see how pathetic it is; everyone is basically ponning. But well, I can’t help it, because lesson ends at 1pm, so I can’t possibly stone until 2.30pm and have the lesson till 4.30pm… :\ Besides, Jap exams are already over. :X

I’m gonna be bald soon!
Every time when I wipe my hair with a towel after bathing, I see 4 or 5 strands of hair on the towel.
I repeat the action, and I get 3 or 4 more stands. If I repeat the action again, I get 2 or 3 more strands… (more…)

Weird
I feel weird. I came home early today ’cause I didn’t go for CCA. And I got nothing to do. I was basically stoning, and somehow there’s this weird feeling — I feel as if I have forgotten to do some work — because I’m used to doing things…

Sense of Achievement #2
I spent the whole of today doing my Geography Performance Task, which requires us to think creatively and design a letter, protest poster, comic strip or song, etc, to convey a message about sustainability in environmental management at international/regional/national/community/personal level.

Went back to school today for RE (Research Education) Semi-finals. Was quite glad that my group did not do too badly, in my opinion, but it wasn’t good enough to enter finals either. (Yup, I don’t really want to enter finals, ’cause well, it’ll just be a waste of my time :P) (more…)

Japanese Language Proficiency Test
Went to apply for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) today!
It’s very expensive. $2 for Application form + $45 for the test + $3 for 2 passport-size photos = $50. I signed up for Level 2 (which is the second hardest paper), and I will be taking the test in December.
I seriously hope I will pass it (passing score is 60%) so that I won’t waste my $50.
日本語能力試験に申し込んで行った！
それはとても高い。願書は２ドルで、試験は４５ドルで、パスポートのサイズの写真は二枚３ドルで、合計は５０ドルだ。二級の試験にサインアップして、十二月に試験を取る。
５０ドルは無駄になりたくないので、本当に合格したい（合格のパーセントは６０％だ）。

Yesterday’s concert was a success!
Because I think I did very well as I did not play wrongly except for a few random notes. :X
Actually I’m a little sad because bassists are crucial to the orchestra but they aren’t recognised for the effort they put in. :( I’m even sadder that I’m leaving CO already. I will miss everything and everyone. :( (more…)
