It’s over!

Yay, handed up our SS Documentary today. It’s finally over, after so many technical problems!

The last obstacle we had was the subtitling. We used iMovie on Yeesiang’s Mac to do the movie, but somehow, it’s hard to use iMovie to do subtitling. Therefore, I recommended a software called Sony Vegas Pro which is compatible only on Windows to do the subtitling, and after saving it as a .MOV file, the files (our clip is split into 6 parts) cannot be transferred to the Mac.

The weird thing was that we had a hard disk with about 70 GB of space, but somehow, we couldn’t shift any of the 6 files in although they are of size 5 to 8 GB only. Quite weird, and frustrating… Therefore, Yee Siang and I had to go Justin’s house again last night, and after wasting a lot of time trying to get it work, we finally had it done! Yay!

Btw, I don’t like scholars because they do not take the initiative to help out, and basically, they just leech. We got 4 people (3 locals + 1 scholar) in this group, but only Justin, Yee Siang and I are doing most of the work. It’s the same case for some other groups too… Zzz.
