Weird…

1. 56 hits on my blog yesterday… which is quite rare ’cause the normal hits per day is around 20+ nowadays…

2. Somehow I enjoy typing out music notes (using Finale PrintMusic)…

3. I’m quite lucky enough to be doing my Oral Defense next week when there are no CCTs at all for the whole of that week. Unlucky people are doing this week… xD Although there are people who are doing two or three weeks later (which is of course, later than me), they have to cope with CCTs together too… Oral Defense is actually a presentation of my journey in RI throughout the 4 years… summarised in 10 minutes. Heh. =D

Fun to be an Interviewer

Seriously, I didn’t know it’s that fun to interview someone!

Today, during CCA time, it was the leadership interview session. As a Sectional Leader, I got to sit in for the interviews, together with the EXCO and teacher-in-charge.

Rare Encounter 稀有な出会い

Quite honoured today to have VIPs from Japan visiting our Japanese lesson at MOELC. They were Wife of Foreigner Minister of Japan and Wife of Ambassador of Japan to Singapore. But they only stayed in our class for around 10 minutes… :(

今日、語学センターで日本語の授業に日本からの賓客がいらっしゃって光栄でした。彼らは日本外務大臣令夫人と駐シンガポール日本大使令夫人でございました。でも、教室に十分ぐらいだけいらっしゃってしまいました…。

My tooth!

Did you know that actually the bottom half of one of my front teeth is actually FAKE?

This is because when I was in Primary 2, I fell down and broke it. Then the school dentist got it fixed by sticking some solid onto the tooth. I wonder how he ‘glued’ it on. LOL.

But now, after 7 to 8 years, that fake bottom half suddenly came off while I was eating lunch today! I wasn’t eating any tough stuff, but for some reasons, it just got detached from the real upper half… and I was chewing it up into smaller bits. =.=

Ahhhhh! Now I look very ugly with my weird front tooth. T_T

Internet Incident

Seriously, APCG week wasn’t that great. I have been keeping myself busy with CCAs, the e-learning work and the remaining project work.

A major event that happened was the failure of my internet connection, between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday night.

No school for the whole of next week!

o.O No school next week, because RI will be hosting Asia Pacific Conference on Giftedness (APCG) Youth Summit from 14 to 18 July. Don’t really understand what the whole thing is about though. :\

As such, I thought next week would be quite slack, but then it is e-learning. So instead of working in school using stationery, it’s working at home using computer. Oh, the good news is that 3rd language e-learning is on next week too, so yay!

Just finished all the Chinese work given, SS e-learning, Chemistry e-learning and one of the two Biology worksheets. Wanted to do Physics worksheets, but realised it’s too difficult, so I gave up. T_T

Was staying at Justin’s house on Sunday and Monday. It’s quite cool to be staying over at someone’s place for a project… it’s my first time doing so. His mother was quite nice. xD But this is not the main point of this blog post. Read on… LOL.

It’s over!

Yay, handed up our SS Documentary today. It’s finally over, after so many technical problems!

The last obstacle we had was the subtitling. We used iMovie on Yeesiang’s Mac to do the movie, but somehow, it’s hard to use iMovie to do subtitling. Therefore, I recommended a software called Sony Vegas Pro which is compatible only on Windows to do the subtitling, and after saving it as a .MOV file, the files (our clip is split into 6 parts) cannot be transferred to the Mac.

6.50 pm on Monday now, still at Justin’s house. Stayed over at Justin’s house from Sunday to Monday. Worked from 8pm to 3am on Sunday, 9am onwards on Monday… but we’ve only finished 10+% of our Social Documentary.

OMG, die. Due date is this Thursday!!!

Got back my HCL Mid-Year Exam papers.

I got 56/70 for the composition, which is reduced by 2 marks. T_T Oh well. Anyway, I got 18/20 for letter-writing and 91.5/110 for the main paper.

I’m happy about it. xD
