Tired
It’s 11.50 pm now and I’m still not done with my work.
Have been quite tired for the past few days. Was in school on Friday (it was supposed to be a day off due to Staff Training) from 9 am to 6.30 pm. Went to Kolam Ayer for CIP from 9am to 11+am, and went back to school and stayed till 8.30pm. Today, met up at J8 at 8am, and went to Toa Payoh and then Orchard. Ended at about 2pm. Back home, it was time for weekend homework.
And now, I’m still stuck at the computer. I think this was the worst weekend, rofl. I think I did nothing but work.
Oh ya, I will be posting some adventures at school when I’m freer, so be sure to check out, LOL.

Busy Life
I’m leading a busy life.
Was in school from 9am to 6.30pm to work on my English project. I’m so darn tired now. Tomorrow, I have to go for Sec 4 CIP till 1 pm, so will be doing SS project after that… probably until 6+ too.
I wonder why teachers must take deadlines that are so difficult to meet. We are not in the working life yet; it’s not as if we are submitting stuff to some companies or bosses… why can’t they be more empathetic with our workload and give us more time to do?
I think they think that June holidays were more than enough time for us to finish our projects… But it’s not, ’cause people go overseas. Sigh.

Staff Training
Oh great, it’s a day off for us tomorrow, ’cause it’s Staff Training Day!
Yes, I do agree that teachers need more training! =D

Contradictory Behaviour
What will happen if you talk with your friends during assembly/talk?
You get warned, or made to stand, by a teacher.
Why will you get warned, or made to stand, by a teacher?
It is very rude to be talking when the speaker is addressing you. When someone talks, you should listen, and be aware of the other people around you who would prefer listening to the speaker to listening to you.

New Term
It’s gonna be a bad start to the new term, because not a single project is fully completed.

I’m officially dead, looking at the amount of project work (which are group work) left undone. =D

Bus Encounters
Encounter #1
I’m sure you’ve seen people on the MRT leaning against the glass panel on the two sides of the door…

1-point defeat
Aww. Just came back from Hua Wen Zhi Duo Xing finals’ filming. RI got 107 points at the end, while Nanyang Girls High got 108 points.
RI lost to NYGH by a narrow margin of 1 point and got a second place. What a pity! HCI got 83 and Xinmin Sec got 73.

Danger
Omg, just found out that using the phone to have calls or to listen music while charging its battery will cause the battery to expand and may also cause it to explode!
I’m guilty of having phonecalls while the battery recharges… Luckily it didn’t explode at my ear!

Interview with Dr Woffles Wu
For English, we have to do a Biography project, and our biographee is Dr Woffles Wu, world-renowned Asia’s leading aesthetic surgeon.
Just came back from an interview with him. Was at first quite scared as famous people are mostly fierce and scary… but he was very friendly!

A fruitful day
Today was a fruitful day. Woke up at 10am+, and started work on the editing of the clips taken for SS Documentary.
I worked non-stop till 7 pm. Added subtitles to the clips and cut the clips according to the questions. However, I think too little was done today. There are a lot of clips left, I think, and we are gonna do more interviews tomorrow. :|

Beach-ily Fun!
It was another beach-y day! Arranged to meet up at 3 pm with my group members, but somehow, I was late again!
My dad told me it would take me 45 minutes to reach Pasir Ris Interchange on bus 88 from Bishan. But err, it took me 59 minutes, in fact. I reached at 3.11 pm. I was very sorry about that. T_T

Prizes!
Hey. Remember the prizes that my sister and I won from AuditionSEA? If you don’t remember, it’s okay. Here’s the link to the blog post I made about it, and here’s the link to the results page at AuditionSEA.com.
Well, I went to @Club Asiasoft to retrieve the prize on my sister’s behalf. xD Somehow, it took me a very long time to walk from City Hall MRT to Suntec City Mall, and it took me even longer to find the place because Suntec City is just too big! Somemore, I didn’t know the place belongs to which tower. Zzz. Anyway…

I love the Library
Oh, another day of interviews. Went to Bugis to meet Yee Siang, and we wasted time there without daring to approach people, ’cause they all look unfriendly, ROFL.
So, we took the MRT to Bishan, and went back to the usual place, Junction 8. Stayed at the basement for a while and only got a few people. As usual, most people were quite scared of being videoed. Some rejected nicely and politely, while some just showed an unfriendly face and shook their hands…

Why spend holidays overseas?
This question has been puzzling me for a very long time. Why has an overseas trip become a holiday ritual? Why can’t people just stay in their own country and spend their holidays without spending a whole lot of money? Why can’t people just relax at their home-sweet-homes instead of flying somewhere else?
I seriously wonder why.

I hate Ulcers
Today was about the same. There were both friendly and unfriendly people. “Solely interview, can. Video, cannot,” said some of the people we approached. What’s so scared about getting videoed? We’ve already explained that the video is solely for school purposes and will definitely not be uploaded to Youtube or whatever. =.=
Argh. I bit my tongue while eating pizza on Saturday. There is now a big fat white ulcer on the tip of my tongue. It hurts a lot whenever I eat. I’m getting to hate eating. I hate breakfast, I hate lunch, I hate dinner. Will I get anorexia? Probably not, but I can’t stand the pain everytime I eat. T_T

What’s so scary about a videocam?
There is this SS Social Documentary that all Sec 4s have to produce. My group has 4 people. 1 person is currently overseas.
Today, we decided to go to Junction 8 to interview people and film the interviews down. 1 person had a fever, so left 2 of us, Justin and me.

It’s Fated
Went to do some morning pull-up exercises with Kenneth at Bishan Park. It was very strenuous; now my arm muscles hurt.
For the coming 31 August concert, it’s not compulsory for Sec 4s to perform. So, on our way back home (we both live in Bishan xD), I asked him whether he wants to perform, because we have to submit the names in already.
